After 13 years in this industry, I can say that I know what makes this job amazing; I love these patients. With the support of my amazing family, and the fun we have at my work family, taking great care of people pets is what makes me want to get out of bed. I love to garden, go wine tasting, and work on my ranch. I’m most proud of my amazing daughter, and the life my husband and I are building. The best thing about this job is the people I work with, and knowing the high level of care we provided to patients. One thing I wish pet owners knew is how much we truly care for each pet as if they were our own.

Madisen Kennel Tech
I have been working with animals for about a year, but this is my first adventure into Veterinary Medicine. I love working with horses, and recently won some pretty cool medals in a national championship. Now I’m taking classes to become an RVT, and I’m so glad to be at SVG. I love my coworkers, and they are great teachers. Every day I learn something new. When I’m not at work, I love to ride my horses, paint, garden, and play video games. I’m most proud of my horses that have won many awards in horse shows, and I’m especially proud of my horse Kiss. I thought the move to small animals would be hard, but I have found a true love working with all animals, big and small. I love seeing the pets get better and be able to go home to their families. I hope pet owners know that as a kennel tech, we really do love your animals just as much as the doctors.
